I am an educator and mentor who works with elementary school students in various settings and capacities. Currently, I am an After-School Specialist at Promise South Salt Lake, where I provide academic support, enrichment activities, and positive mentoring to the kids. I enjoy creating a fun and engaging learning environment for them and seeing them grow and thrive.Besides being an After-school specialist, I work as a Paraeducator at Granite School District during the day. I teach reading to small groups of elementary students and supervise them on the playground and in the lunchroom. I assist teachers in covering their classrooms when needed and contribute to the school's culture and climate. My passion is to become an elementary school teacher. After completing classes at Salt Lake Community College, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Utah State University. I aim to teach 2nd or 3rd grade and inspire the next generation of learners and leaders. To complement my education and teaching skills, I have also obtained the CompTIA A+ certification, demonstrating my information technology proficiency.
