I work each day to provide my clients with a safe environment in which they can engage in therapeutic communication and neutralize stressful scenarios. While interacting with my clients I observe and document patient behavior, encourage therapeutic and recreational activities, and monitor patient’s physical wellbeing. In addition I coordinate with a team of doctors, nurses, social workers, and other psychologists by providing input regarding patient progress and action plans.

Rolla, Missouri

While working with the Pathways Health Center, my primary duties revolved around specific patient casework in which I would coordinate with other doctors and psychologists on progress, document and assess patient incidents, interact and provide guidance to patients, and attending appointments in order to make various recommendations in regards to client health and development.

While working with the Boys and Girls Club of Missouri it was responsibility to ensure my patients were provided a safe environment to work on communication skills, avoid (and neutralize) stressful scenarios, and engage in recreational activities. It was also my responsibility to monitor and document progress as well as provide input on action plans regarding assistance for our patients. In addition I worked with other psychologists to help the children build upon scenario coping skills.
