IT SUPPORT TECHITIAN

Administration of the functioning of the networks, associated software and hardware on LAN and WAN environment. · Implementing, maintaining and monitoring the network communication infrastructure, e.g: routers and switches. · Working with staff to resolve network connectivity problems. · Facilitating the maintenance of data points and network communication devices. · Maintaining communication device and monitor the network performance. · Analyzing network hardware problems and undertake necessary maintenance.· Managing and registering departmental IT assets.· Reporting of all incidents and investigating as well as resolving them within a reasonable timeframe. · Building partnership with various internal stakeholders in order to enhance service delivery.   [POT]· Ensuring connectivity between Branches, e.g. VPN.· Supporting users on the use of the different applications telephonically and personally· Training first time users and new IT Technicians to become acquainted with Departmental systems· First - Second line support and fault finding on all hardware and software
