Working with people to fix an issue makes me happy. Whether it means finding the perfect pairing of drink for your desserts or walking a customer through and issue on the equipment I built for them. I started working at an upscale brewery and restaurant in high school and fell in love with the service industry. Making things that made people happy made me happy. I helped manage an island bar after serving up a slice of the tropics in the Midwest; Then a local craft beer hub that took its place, selecting brew for the beginner to the cicerone. Service was great but after a decade I found myself burnt out and wanting more for myself. I transitioned to Alpha Brewing Operations where I get to continue working with brewers by fabricating the equipment to brew the beer that I once loved.Here I get to:- Utilize creativity and problem focused thinking to solve issues with the guys in R&D- Detail oriented thinking while building, testing, and going over QA guidelines for equipment- Plus I still get to flex the customer service a bit.When I'm not on the clock I can be found on the computer writing D&D campaigns, in the garage testing something I've built, or breaking an open source game my buddies built. Doing QA with Caos Creations and Planar Worlds showed me that I can pursue passions without commuting to another city.
