Competition and leadership has always been in my DNA. While my professional sports career was awaiting a growth spurt that never happened, I turned to a commission-only job in medical sales which changed my life. As soon as I got a taste for sales, I was inspired by the dynamic work, the problem-solving opportunities, and the potential to drive a company's growth exponentially. I was fortunate that I was given opportunities early in my career to put this to the test. I had the ambitious goal of creating a US division, and I was able to develop a sales training program, build a winning sales team, and grow the client base by thousands, resulting in huge market penetration and growth for the company.These experiences afforded me the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams, improve internal processes, create sales tools, develop unique and lucrative partnerships, and scale a growth organization as VP of Sales. Since then, I joined a world-renowned med device organization known for its sales excellence amid a large acquisition. This broadened my leadership experience with Fortune 500, acquiring best practices in capital medical devices. Now, an award-winning senior sales leader who's spent the last 15 years in consumable and capital medical devices in Canada & the US. I have hired and trained over 100 reps and supported over $150M in medical sales while boasting double-digit % growth YOY. ZedMed has allowed me to impact innovation and people on a multifaceted and larger scale in the medical device industry.I believe that adversity is a gift, giving us the chance to better ourselves each and every day.
