Prior to co-founding Jaeger Financial LLP, Zed worked at Auxly Cannabis Group Inc, a leading Cannabis company, as Manager, Decision Support and Accounting Policy. He played a key role in the Company’s financial planning and analysis function, including leading a consolidated cross-organization budget initiative. Zed provided technical IFRS guidance to controllers and external reporting teams of Auxly and its subsidiaries in various complex areas, including biological assets, inventory, and revenue recognition. Zed was also the project manager for the design, testing and implementation of Auxly’s ERP production module and its internal control certification program.Before Auxly, Zed was an Audit Manager at MNP LLP, where he was a pioneer in the firm’s cannabis and blockchain practice and a member of the National IAS41 Working Group. Zed is the co-author for analysis and position papers for the firm’s cryptocurrency accounting and audit practice. He holds a Master of Accountancy from Goodman School of Business at Brock University. Zed brings years of accounting, audit, financial modelling & analysis and go-public experience for mid-market clients in the cannabis, blockchain, technology, psychedelic, plant-based food and mining industries.
