CurrentIPAM: Managed Multimillion-IP Infrastructure Across Global Clusters• Engineered a Kubernetes-based automated IP refilling system, utilizing a controller pattern to monitor and replenish IPs according to usage thresholds set by granular rack/VPC-based policies. Integrated rate limiters, fail-safe mechanisms for reliable retries and rollbacks, conducted mock tests for legacy components.• Developed APIs and a UI for secure subnet management in rack systems, including dry-run modes, automated change requests, and safety checks (ping, DNS, subnet usage).• Configured monitoring tools (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, Kibana) and notification systems (PagerDuty, Slack webhook) for real-time IP usage tracking.• Administered development cluster IPs using OpenStack Neutron.CI/CD: Designed Cloud Network CI/CD Automation• Engineered Continuous Deployment (CD) for Cloud Network, automating setup and rollout for over 20 control planes (Etcd, Apiserver) and L4/L7 components (IPAM, SLB, Istio) in 130+ clusters, including RBAC, quotas, certificates, cloud storage backups, and health monitoring, traffic exit, reducing rollout time from a quarter to two weeks with 24/7 flexible scheduling capability.• Developed Continuous Integration (CI) for L4/L7 operators e2e testing with Kind, simulating complete environments including FCP and all network components, resulting in a 6x increase in deployment speed.• Enhanced Prow’s UI for streamlined log visualization, implemented log persistence with cloud storage backup to enable access to historical data after pod termination. Developed a CI server file viewer.• Optimized Bazel build process, achieving a 10x speed increase with remote cache and remote execution.
