I am presently serving as a postdoctoral research fellow at NatPro, the Centre for Natural Products Research, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. My current research focuses on the bioassay-guided isolation of compounds through in vitro and HPTLC-based assays, including tyrosinase, dpph, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory assays. For isolation of compounds, the main techniques that I am using are Column chromatography using normal phase, reverse phase, sephadex columns and preparative HPLC. Characterization of these compounds predominantly involves the use of NMR, LCMS, HPLC, and HPTLC profiling.I earned my PhD from school of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland in 2019. During my doctoral research, I focused on the synthesis of tubulin polymerization inhibitors and their targeted delivery to tumor tissues. My research expertise spans multistep organic synthesis and compounds isolation from natural products. I have significant experience of interpreting 1D, 2D NMRs and LC-MS data. My skills also encompass conducting in vitro protein and cell- based assays including APN assay, DPPH assay, tyrosinase inhibition assay, tubulin polymerization assay and MTT assay using PC3 cells. Additionally, I have worked on HPLC and HPTLC based profiling of natural compounds and isolation of compounds using a prep HPLC.
