Knits (Ladies / Mens) :- Plan category budgets and distribute according to sales trend:- Execute orders reviewing vendor performances, current trends and LY sales.:- Introduces Sportswear category with complete range of Mens Tops and bottoms :- develop sweaters and jackets category from local vendors (importing from china in past):- Design and Style selections in-coordination with Design and Marketing departments:- Plan marketing strategies to boost product line:- Vendor management to ensure on time delivery and cost efficiency:- Set Planograms and help visual merchandise department to demonstrate products in categorical way:- Keep an eye on sales and plan strategies to clear dead inventories :- conduct training sessions with suppliers to increase productivity with quality and with sales team to enhance product knowledge:- Visit various cities to analyse fashion trends and frequently visits to develop new categories in local cities

* Look-after Entire Knits Division Productionsincluding (Infants, Children, Ladies, Gents, Sleepwear)Additional responsibilities; Buyer Men’s Apparel (T-shirt/ Casual Bottoms), Sweaters and Sportswear* Color palette selection for all knits productions* Design & style selection according to current trend * Retail-wise quantity distribution and plan productions by reviewing last year sales* Plan Production assortments for different items and release programs of entire season.* Major responsibility to produce knitwear items (infant, Children, Mens, Ladies, undergarments) from different Vendors/factories.* Detailed over-view on product costing & manufacturing to maintain targeted retail prices* Keep quality controls on all production units with quality team.* Maintain targeted cost of each product by involving in all process (Print, Embroidery & embellishments)*, keep an eye on dead stocks and reduce dead stock with day-to-day sales analysis & Interstore movements* Analysis & survey of competitors and brands to grab ideas as well as updates of new launching* Research & development of fabrics and products to maintain production department uniqueness to gain high profits.* Introduce various new styles which are on-display only at Chase Value.
