CurrentEcho Auto v2:• As a part of the Device Software team, developed firmware for on-the-go Echo products like Echo Auto v2.• Developed complex device drivers in C, improved UX over Echo Auto v1, optimized silent OTA updates to deliver one of the most successful product launches of 2023 in the team with a consistent CSAT of 4.5 stars.• Led the end-to-end development of the Wireless Charging feature from scratch, including phone-detection algorithms and integration into the AutoMode app screens.• Designed and implemented DAVS for modular OTA updates, bringing custom wake words to on-the-go devices. • Developed complex automation scripts for the factory processes, reducing BFT time by around 120 seconds reducing nearly 6K man-hours on the DVT build.• Added HCI logging support to the QA Latte framework on Linux, helping QA achieve near 100% automation.• Integrated e2e encryption support, iOS-specific features (MAP and ANCS) improving iOS user CSAT.Pre-PRFAQ prototype device (unnamed): • Lead the development of a prototype device, conceptualizing use-cases for the device, designing the software architecture and the development of the device software and the cloud service that powers it.• Received accolades from senior execs, including a personal interest from the Senior VP of Amazon Devices, Dave Limp, who visited for a special demo of the product in Sunnyvale.• Won the “Solutions Samurai” award at the August 2023 DemoCrawl in Seattle (an annual exhibition of the best projects in Devices Org).• Developed an interface for Alexa Voice Service on the proto device running AOSP. • Designed and developed an Alexa Skill powered by LLM capabilities from scratch.• I independently conceived, scripted, filmed, and meticulously edited a promotional video that effectively demonstrated the capabilities of this prototype device. Received high accolades from senior leadership for this undertaking.
