As a dedicated Post Doctoral Researcher at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), I am actively engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of energy and petroleum engineering. Leveraging my expertise in deep learning and numerical simulation, I specialize in exploring various aspects of oil and gas, geological carbon storage, hydrogen storage, and fluid flow in porous media.My primary focus revolves around the application of deep learning techniques to optimize subsurface engineering models. Worked in a team at the College of Petroleum and Geoscience (CPG) on a joint project of Saudi-Aramco and KFUPM. My work responsibilities were:• To conduct hydraulic and thermochemical fracturing experiments.• To conduct core flooding experiments, petrophysical measurements, and rock mechanical tests on different rock samples.• Thermochemical Fracture simulation using Finite Element Simulator (ABAQUS).

Worked in a team of geomechanics specialists at Research Institute of KFUPM on a joint research project of Saudi-Aramco and KFUPM. My work responsibilities were:• Use Advanced Machine learning/Artificial Intelligence techniques and optimization algorithms to develop robust and representative models to predict rock mechanical parameters using MATLAB software. • Carrying out uniaxial and triaxial experiments on AUTO LAB 1500 to measure rock mechanical properties.• Conduct ultrasonic tests to measure dynamic properties of rock using AUTO LAB 1500.
