QIA uses several systems across a diversified portfolio. This spans across international strategic investors, real estate, hedge funds, bonds, and several passive/active investments. This structure requires software integration across dissimilar systems to provide a cohesive and interconnected solution. My expertise is to connect disparate systems using middleware (BizTalk sever) where heterogeneous messages can co-exist in the environment and exchange information. I’ve successfully developed interfaces across several applications such as Oracle ERP, SQL Server, SWIFT messaging, investment software such as Misys Sophis, Bloomberg, JPM, CRD, Eagle Investment accounting, Blackrock eFront and local banks. Additionally, I’ve also developed interfaces with content management solutions such as SharePoint, and disparate web-services and file messages. Additionally, my role spans across dashboard inception, delivery, and design. I’ve successfully delivered solutions across Power BI, SQL Reporting server and Analysis Services.

TAL is enhancing their IT environment to implement Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. This would affect eleven internal sub-systems that store, process and transmit credit cardholder data, plus, implementing a secure interface with an external merchant. The solution uses BizTalk and SSIS as the communication layer between internal systems, and the external merchant. PCI standards are sustained across the solution, with secure certificate exchange over WCF and REST services. The BizTalk layer is built with performance objectives on high volume to communicate across dissimilar systems. These interfaces are across Oracle, PeopleSoft, SQL Server, DB2, flat and xml files. A generic framework has been developed that also has features for automated error-reporting, retries and logging.

Caltex is remodeling their business process to forecast accuracy in purchasing petroleum goods. This requires end-to-end system integration within their supply chain. This will enable Caltex to automate processes and forecast decisions in shipment, trading, optimization and scheduling.The solution operates on BizTalk Server as the communication layer between four existing systems. This system comprises of interfaces over SAP, Web-Services, and file delivery (over SFTP).

Tower Australia has identified a significant risk to their new business production process for their imaging system, and needs to replace it with a more modern and strategic solution architecture. The new business process encompasses all activities ranging from receiving paper or online applications, data capture, existing business checks to underwriting right through to in-force policies issue. The new solution design will employ a number of new and existing technologies in order to process these activities.The solution comprises of six intermediate systems that will be integrated at different points. The solution is architected with SOA principles with BizTalk as the central integration platform.

Integration lead at Royal Bank of Canada - Dexia.Designed and developed RBC’s middleware solution for handling Trade Instructions from a range of sources (including client files/ database sources and SWIFT data) into RBC’s custody and accounting system (called HiPort). The major highlight of this project is the extension and customization of Microsoft’s ESB Toolkit 2.1 to re-use existing services for RBC.

To develop a framework for the company’s B2B integration standards. This would allow Wesfarmers to trade with its contractual partners on different commercial standard for business requests. These features would include message archiving, exception management through a generic architectural pattern. The technology to develop the overall architecture is based on BizTalk 2006 R2, SQL Server 2005 and WCF (.Net 3.0).

These features would include message tracking, exception management, logging, batch scheduler, performance and process execution. The architecture should perform transparently under high volume and be generic to support future interfaces developed by the bank’s development capability team

Westpac’s online banking solution was a C++ application that was migrated to C# (v1.0). However, the migrated application wasn’t developed according to the modern C# (v2.0) development guidelines and did not utilize the .net framework’s existing capabilities and best practices. Upgrading the code base was required by the bank and would involve restructuring all existing project units into a single package arranged by horizontal or vertical layers.

The NSW Midwives Data Collection Online System (MDCOS) is a statistical data collection that monitors patterns of all births in NSW, including public hospitals, private hospitals and home births. Data collected includes demographic details of the mother and babies, maternal health, pregnancy, labor, delivery and perinatal outcomes. The system acts as a temporary collection repository; where birth related data is captured, validated over business rules, cleaned and then forwarded onto other systems for further analysis and reporting to maintain midwives data integrating between three subsystems

Largest .NET project in the Asia Pacific region serving the bank’s requirement of retail and consumer banking services.A single view CRM software fulfilling requirements for "Retail Banking Services" and "Premium Business Services" for the Commonwealth Bank. Comprises of the largest .Net software development team in Asia Pacific. This involved development in the "Commercial Lending" segment of the CRM software completing assigned modules of Business Facilitation. Backend XML generation in Pl/Sql (Oracle) and the front end in .NET (C#) – conforming it to the product architecture.
