Established Palomar Displays as a sole source supplier to the US Army of thermal imaging displays for the M1 Abrams MBT, M2 Bradley AFV, USMC LAV. Successfully replaced second generation of legacy analog products with third generation digital full HD displays. Strategic planning, product development initiation, product launching, product management, product end of life - overall product responsibility cradle to grave. New and legacy product business development.

Established and implemented a Corporate Strategic Alliance pursuit process. Consolidated all disparate partnership engagements ensuing in a quantifiable, trackable alliance plan.• Identified, pursued and established global go-to-market alliances with strategic Fortune 500 companies resulting in potential first year sales of $10M.• Identified product portfolio gaps and created a roadmap for fulfilling these gaps by establishing strategic alliances with technology partners. Initiated and executed OEM and Reselling agreements with potential first year sales of $15M.

Business development responsibility for transportation markets, distribution and A&E consultant community.

Responsible for all aspects of product management activities of Printrak – a Motorola Company. The company is a $120M global supplier of biometric hardware, software and related services for public safety, law enforcement and criminal justice markets. Major achievement was segmenting a wide, convoluted biometric product offering into functional, concise product lines through product prioritization and maintenance of a balanced, cross-functional resource budget.

Recruited to cure an ailing military display and computer manufacturing division with declining revenue and profitability. Within four years the annual revenue grew from $11M to $19M while delivering 38% gross margin (on hardware).

Corporate responsibility for all phases of business development including marketing, sales and product development for rugged computer systems and components to prime defense contractors and all three (Army, Navy, Air Force) military branches. Staff position reporting directly to the President.
