As I progress through my sophomore year at UNM, I have begun to expand my academic network and explore activities university life has to offer. Recently joining the UNM chess club, I have had the opportunity to interact with fellow students with similar interests and hobbies.Through my affiliation with the Ba/MD program, I have been exposed to an increasing amount of upper division science courses and am well on my way to successfully matriculate into the UNM School of Medicine. Having held a tutoring position with the Simon Scholarship program since the beginning of the academic year, I am hoping to hone my communication skills and become a more efficient tutor.
