I graduated from Columbia University on February 2021, with a Master of Science degree in Business Analytics at Columbia Engineering & CBS. I was one an undergrad at Peking University, with a major in mathematics and a double major in Physics. I’m currently looking for full time roles in USA.I won Business Analytics Graduate Fellowship on May 2020. And I studied Machine Learning, Cloud Analytics, Statistics, Optimization, Simulation at Columbia. I also had an one-year internship at APG Asset Management US Inc. at a business analyst. I concentrated on the sustainable development of automobile industry as well as mining industry. I collected the data from multiple data sources. And I explored and quantified the influence of automation, digital transformation, and climate change on human capital management for 36 automobile companies and 57 metal mining companies using Python and R. I also constructed key variables to forecast the trend of sustainability in automobile and mining industry which is mostly original work. In addition, I developed a database for 500 models by fixed income analysts with real-time update and user interface.The rigorous undergraduate study has equipped me with knowledge and skills required for work. Via professional training in such courses as Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, I have extensively used mathematical and statistical methods to scientifically analyze and solve problems. I also endeavored to hone my quantitative skills by applying such statistical and programming tools as Python and MATLAB in real projects and competitions such as the Mathematical Contest in Modeling in which I got Meritorious Winner (first prize) in 2017. I value these experiences since I believe they would be crucial for my future work filled with models and data.I have also taken internships to apply in-class theory to real-world scenarios. I obtained an internship in E Fund as a data analyst in 2018, which further augmented my data analytics skills and enhanced business acumen as well. My primary responsibility was to collect cases of big data technology applied in the financial industry, and to conduct research on emerging technology companies. Moreover, I was deeply engaged in customer behavior analysis, optimization of marketing forecasting algorithm by mining data and establishing models. In this internship, I not only gained experience with most cutting-edge tools and technologies to analyze big data, but also cultivated other skills, i.e. communication and working efficiently in teams.
