I worked with the Wamda, the leading media resource for entrepreneurship in the Middle East, to create, produce, shoot and edit original video content.

Entrepreneur Levant is the Lebanese edition of the U.S magazine Entrepreneur. As the online editor the main tasks that I’m involved with are: maintaining the site; keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the startup and tech sector in the Middle East; attending as many related events as possible; create as much video content as possible. I’m a one woman show: I film, edit and upload all the content. And most importantly stay ahead of the competition by securing key interviews and leads.

As the Social Media Coordinator during the festival, I aided the social media team in strategizing the approach during the festival in-terms of: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. And promoting the daily live webcast of the festival. I also organized the 30+ volunteers and interns to cover all the screenings, panels and events.

Cinemoz is one of the first premium Video On Demand platforms for and from the Arab World. Watch, share, discover and discuss all the best of Arab films, TV Series, documentaries while using groundbreaking technologies in a fun and laid back environment. My role as the Content and Communications Manager was to choose and curate all content for the website. My other tasks included, building from the ground up, our social media network such as directing, producing, shooting and editing all our viral films and keeping our blog up to date.

I worked on a documentary with the New York based production company, Crossborders productions (now Rain), in documenting the lives of students and faculty during the first year of NYU in Abu Dhabi. The documentary follows the students on how they adapted to being the first of many students to enter NYU’s Abu Dhabi campus.
