I am a motivated and passionate scientist. I have always been interested by interdisciplinary projects. I believe the key to success is shared perspectives and that in all things it is always good to consider all sides. Learning from all sciences and combining all of them for the greater good. During my PhD I worked on developing custom-made gold nanoparticles and quantum dots for microbiological applications. I therefore acquired experience in Nanotechnology, spectroscopy, biotechnology, and microbiology. I have studied and worked in different countries trying to combine my favorite hobby (Travelling) and my passion about science! I am originally from Tunisia where I finished my Bachelor’s degree in biology at the national institute of applied sciences and technologies (INSAT-Tunis). In 2014, I moved to Moscow to study Master of Biotechnology at D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia. After which, I moved to New Zealand for a PhD in Chemistry. Combining the nanotechnology skills i learnt during my PhD and my biological background, today, I work as a postdoc at the Institute for advanced biosciences in France (Grenoble). Travelling around and studying/working in different countries opened my mind to different ways of thinking and working approaches of different cultures. I have learned multiple languages (arabic, french, english and russian) which developed my communication and understanding of others.
