I am a Ph.D. student at Sherbrooke University, currently engaged in a research project titled "Integration of hydrometric information derived from the new SWOT satellite into the HYDROTEL hydrological model." My primary focus within this project is the testing of discharge inversion algorithms and error estimation in site studies located in Canada.The objective of my research is to gain a comprehensive understanding of river dynamics in Canadian rivers through the utilization of SWOT observations and discharge estimations. By incorporating this valuable information into the HYDROTEL hydrological model, I aim to enhance the existing hydrological modeling approach.Prior to pursuing my Ph.D., I completed a master's degree where my research centered around the SWOT satellite as well. During this time, I worked extensively on evaluating SWOT pre-launch data with the aim of improving water balance estimation. The focus of my study was a reservoir case located in Northern Quebec, Canada. In this project, I employed the WRF-HYDRO hydrological model to facilitate my evaluations.
