From a humble beginning as a Junior External Auditor, I have held a variety of roles such as a Senior External Auditor, Corporate Senior Internal Auditor, Group Internal Auditor, Member and secretary of Audit apex board, Member and secretary of Transitional Management Committee, Member and secretary of corporate Risk and Compliance Committee, and Member and secretary of Corporate Procurement Approval Committee, Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Manager.During, my work as a Group internal auditor with East African Holding SC, I worked directly with the Board of Directors and reporting to Managing Director of the Group company and implement the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC model), as well as assess Risks, systems and operations to make sure they align with company objectives.However, as a Member and secretary of Corporate Procurement Approval Committee, where my main duties focused on building a procurement database at corporate office, receiving and evaluating procurement requests from subsidiary companies, examination of PI, considering the market also negotiate contract terms with vendors, communicate terms to committee members, and providing an approval for procurement by completing appropriate market research and analysis.As a CFO my overall responsibility comprises; strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and governance. Now as a Deputy General Manager at ROGETCO PLC, I am responsible for improving efficiency and increasing profits while managing the company’s overall operations. Oversee several elements in a business, including hiring staff, operating budgets, and launching price promotions that could attract more customers.I consider myself a team player with an innovative mind-set who is focusing on his personal and professional goals.
