I'm a Data Engineer, SAStivist, Influencer and now an avid Urban and Nightlife Event Photographer.When I'm at work - I construct useful, validated and prepared data tables, data marts, data lakes for analysts and statisticians to use. All from big, unstructured, dirty and messy data. I build the process by which we can easily replicate and automate the next build and incorporate things like audits and high level data insights that communicate useful information about the data to the person or teams who will use it.When I'm not at work - I'm into urban and nightlife photography. From random street-life images to exclusive DJ, Artist, concert event journalism.My main tool of choice is SAS®. I'm learning Python and enjoying it.My data experience is in data extraction, cleansing, summarization, visualization and analysis in business environments; Industry expertise is focused on Insurance, Financial, Telecommunications, Health Research and Marketing as they relate to Business Intelligence solutions and integration. I automate these processes so I can move on to the next challenge.I served on the board of directors of the Midwest SAS® Users Group and consult with other Local and Regional groups on strategic topics. I also founded the Chicago Area SAS® Users Group (wcsug.com) as well as the Schaumburg SAS® Users Group, Northern Illinois SAS® Users Group, Milwaukee SAS Group, Milwaukee R Group.The community building experience is something I enjoy. Especially when its clear that our community is the one that benefits.
