I am currently working as Manager Quality Assurance & Safety in Ethiopian Airlines Group MRO (Ethiopian MRO). I am a POST HOLDER (Form 4 holder) approved by more than 30 country Regulatory Bodies including EASA, FAA, GACA, GCAA & others. Starting my aviation career in 2010 as Licensed Aircraft Technician, I have over 13 years’ experience in commercial aviation maintenance. I worked for more than 9 years in Quality Assurance and Safety with hands-on experience in conducting quality audit and safety investigations. My professional training includes aviation regulations like EASA Part 145, FAA part 145, Root cause analysis, quality assurance auditing, Safety Management System, Safety Risk management, Boeing MEDA investigation techniques, and other aircraft technical trainings like B737NG, DHC-8-400 aircraft system training, CFM56-7B engine system training, and component trainings. I have managed safety related projects like SMS implementation in EASA part 145 organization. Received formal Diploma training in Aviation Maintenance. I have also bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and master's degree in the Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Engineering Stream). I have also received Aerospace Quality Management Standard, As9100 based auditing.
