I have been working in Saudi Arabia as an engineering consultant in the rolling stock manufacturing and maintenance industry for the last five years, where I was involved in delivering railway wagons to Saudi Railway Company and introducing them to service, project management, procurement management, sales, commissioning, running, and maintenance of more than 1,500 rolling stock units.I earned my Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) degree at the University of Applied Sciences Karlovac, Croatia, and I am currently pursuing an MBA at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, UK.Some of my experiences include:- As a project manager, I successfully led a multinational team operating in Slovakia, Slovenia, Austria, and Serbia. Our collaborative efforts resulted in the delivery of over 400 wagons in 2018, generating over € 80M in revenue.- As an engineering consultant, I participated in managing a large-scale multidisciplinary rectification project of retrofitting the redesigned parts and systems on 80 wagons that were delivered to Saudi Arabia with nonconformity, which required knowledge of project management, as well as pneumatic, electric, and mechanic systems, and which resulted in finishing ahead of schedule, introducing all wagons to service.- Working in quality, I was part of the project team that delivered more than 300 high-quality wagons to customers all over Europe, which resulted in over € 30M in revenue.Having worked extensively with EN, ASME, AAR, TSI, ISO, and other standards, from quality assurance through project management to field support and hands-on maintenance and repair, I've experienced working on many different projects, and each taught me something new about the industry and helped me to grow as a person and professional.My language proficiency in English, German, Slovak, Serbian, and Croatian allows me to effectively communicate with diverse teams and clients.
