I remember being about 8 years old facing the mirror and telling myself, “Be healthy today!”I live in Pensacola, in the beautiful Florida panhandle, but I’m originally from Philadelphia. In the early days, I had the opportunity to work out at the old Philadelphia 76ers gym 🏋🏻‍♂️ What a thrill that was! That propelled my ambitions and desires even more. However, my over-enthusiastic (and egocentric) approach only led to injuries and restrictions. I sure learned a lot of lessons! One of them was that I had to find my own path to living a healthy, purposeful, and fulfilling life.I now have more respect for the interconnected systems of the body and its parts. By emphasizing mobility, balance, core strength, and internal health, I have become a better mover, and attained more energy, with fewer injuries nearing 40 than I did at 20. And I feel and look just as good!
