Free Bikes 4 Kidz is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a healthier, happier childhood by providing bikes to those in need. We collect thousands of gently used bikes every year and work with thousands of volunteers to clean, refurbish and distribute the bikes. Since 2008, we have given away more than 60,000 bikes in MN. We are the largest organization of this kind in the US. Our efforts culminate when we donate the refurbished bikes in December to kids in need. Our signature event, Ironman Bike Ride, takes place in June to boost our fundraising efforts in making sure all kids have access to the benefits of a bike.
