I am a Staff Accountant actively working towards obtaining my CPA designation.My role as a Staff Accountant exemplifies my strong commitment to self-development on the path to achieving my goals. I have gained valuable experience in compilations and audits, dealing with a broad spectrum of tax matters, including foreign income declarations, self-employment, partnership income, work-from-home scenarios, investment accounts, rental properties, and both personal and corporate tax filings. My expertise includes the effective use of software such as Caseware, TaxCycle, DoxCycle, Xero, ATX (US Tax), and Microsoft Excel. In my capacity, I have worked on filing tax matters for diverse industries, encompassing medical and dental fields, engineering and law firms, real estate corporations, import and export sectors, e-commerce subsidiaries, and basic US taxation protocols.In 2022, I completed the Diploma in Accounting program at UBC, which has further enriched my understanding of Canadian tax implications, financial statements, reporting, audit strategies, CAS compliance, and GAAP compliance (IFRS and ASPE), in addition to management accounting. This program is officially recognized by the CPA Western School of Business and aligns with my aspiration to become a CPA.I am also a Professional Kinesiologist and a member of the Alberta Kinesiology Association, also affiliated with the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. In 2020, I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree from SFU in the field of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology. My education was focused on Kinesiology, with a specific concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. My coursework encompassed subjects such as biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, and exercise prescription. I actively engaged in case studies involving clinical diagnostics and the development of client-centered rehabilitation programs catering to diverse populations varying in age, risk factors, and physical conditions. Furthermore, my education included practical experience in delivering routine first aid treatments, conducting functional movement screening and testing, and treating athletic injuries. My dedication during my degree led to recognition on the Dean's Honour Roll.
