After working in a management role for several years, I considered the next steps in my career. I found many parallels between my management role and the skills required for a career in Human Resources. This is what made me decide to pursue a career in HR and obtain my CHRP. In using my own previous management experience, I have built strong and trusted relationships with the leaders I have supported over the years as their HR partner. Since making the decision to move into a career in HR, I have held numerous roles and have had the opportunity to make an impact by providing strategic, thoughtful and data-driven recommendations. In my free time I teach group fitness classes. I love seeing my participants improve every week and helping them achieve their fitness goals. I'm passionate about health and fitness and also love public speaking, so becoming a part-time fitness instructor was a natural fit for me!
