The Norman Regional Urgent Care at Porter Health Village provides comprehensive, quick, and efficient medical services for patients to promote community health. I triage patients to rooms, obtain vitals, and document pertinent medical history based on their chief complaint into our electronic medical record system (eCW). I perform rapid diagnostic tests for various illnesses such as COVID-19, influenza, strep, and take urine samples. If needed, I take X-rays, EKGs, deliver injections, give medications, assist with procedures, and order further lab tests per provider's orders.I also clerk by obtaining patient information, creating appointments, taking co-pays, managing the lab patients, and calling patients with test results or other concerns.
