I have a master's degree in climate change and development and a bachelor's degree in forestry. As for my professional background, I am now employed with African Bamboo as a Forest Landscape Restoration and Nursery Coordinator. I formerly worked at Cordaid as a Program Officer for the Resilience Building/RESET/plus Innovation, Lutheran World Federation as a climate change and disaster risk reduction officer, Ethiopian Red Cross Society as a climate change officer, SoS Shael as a natural resource management officer and team leader for climate-smart agricultural and Self Help Africa as Natural Resource Management officer. My job experience and skills majorly focus on two areas climate change and natural resource management. As a climate change officer, I am well experienced in climate change risk and vulnerability and assessment, adaptation planning, resilience capacity analysis, and building activities. I am also experienced in weather and climate information packaging, distribution, communication, early warning, early action, and policy advocacy.
