• Primary iOS developer for a custom port of the FalconView app for the iPad written using the Xamarin framework. FalconView is a widely used windows mapping app depended on by various military branches for mission planning and execution. The app recently shipped an Alpha version for fielding across a variety of DoD agencies.• Technical lead for a team developing an application written in ASP.NET/C#, EXT JavaScript, and Silverlight for the DoD called Patriot Excalibur (PEX). PEX is a holistic Flight Squadron tracking, logistics, and training tool. The application has a sophisticated middle layer, service-based architecture, and a modularized front-end architecture. Our team fully developed four very successful modules that are currently in use throughout the Air Force (including Air Reserve and ISR), Army, and a handful of foreign military agencies.• Developed an iPad app that provided a custom interface to Cisco/Tandberg video conferencing systems with the purpose of facilitating Telemedicine sessions for the Atlanta Children’s Hospital and Marcus Autism Institute.• Updated an iPad physics calculator app to graph blackbody radiation. Changes include converting drawing to openGL and other UI changes.• Engineered an internal business development iPhone app that provides vital information about DoD contracts to other research scientists. The app is backed by a RESTful web service written in Java.• Developed an iPad application that includes several sub-applications to facilitate medical remote monitoring of patients via cognitive and physical tests.• Assisted development of an iPhone application and Django/Python-based web site that allows for users to take and upload Otoscope measurements for remote medical assessment. • Designed and developed a Geographic Information System (GIS) web application that allows newspaper producers to view and create tags for custom spatial geometry associated with news stories that was stored in enterprise Oracle database for use across multiple platforms.• Co-developed and maintained a custom web video and audio CMS. Features included an administrative interface, dynamic flash media players, and a feature-rich video page driven by JavaScript and HTML.• Designed, developed, and maintained a highly available and scalable back-end system for processing images and video. System ingested uploaded media into a load-balanced queue and processed tasks based upon priority and type for output onto news websites.• Co-developed and maintained a custom image CMS. Features included public user image submission and administrative interface that allows site producers to easily create slideshows.• Additional duties involved maintaining a large Movable Type system and providing technical expertise for Omniture page reporting.
