I have joined Trend Micro for more than 12 years started from Feb, 2002 as the youngest engineer of the IT department. With coding, database maintenance and data migration in the beginning are so meaningful for me so that I could learn fast and quickly gain solid technical skills for both programming and database parts. Became senior engineer I had chance to collaborate with other colleagues and teams, they brought me so many knowledgeable various point of views so that I grow a lot and hence know how to deal with difficult tasks and challenge assignments. Team work is one of important success factors for large scale application implementation which is my focus point after promoting to technical manager. Different roles and skill-levels, cross-timezone and multinational cultures force me to think advance and plan ahead on how to manage tasks/resources/schedules in such variety of dimensions. Furthermore, remote co-working, culture shock and outside service vendor management are the other developing areas for me.People Manager is another wonderful experience that I am lucky to have in Trend Micro. My management scope beginning from 3 sub-ordinaries to current 13 team members and extending application from only ERP to include HR, BI and TA domains.
