The National Student Leadership Conference on Leadership & Service (LEAD) is a 6-day education and professional development program for high school students. The program incorporates simulations, workshops, service projects, field trips, guest lecturers, leadership development activities and frequent group discussion to provide a holistic and a foundational experience for students.As a Program Director, I am responsible for interviewing, hiring and training Team Advisor staff, for scheduling and preparing all program activities and events, for assisting in the teaching and coordination of workshops and academics, for arranging all trips and speakers, and for the program's academic curriculum, including writing and designing lesson plans.

The Reed College Outing Club (ROC) is a peer leadership model working with the assistant director of Athletic, Fitness and Outdoor Programs (AFOP) to allow students to design, manage and execute outdoor trips for fellow students. ROC also specializes in developing skills for life long learning such as Wilderness First Responder, Avalanche Training, and Swift Water Rescue. ROC is a student club, but is orchestrated in conjuction with Reed AFOP, and as such employs two student interns. We were wholly responsible for planning and organizing an outdoor adventure every week of each semester. Our responsibilities included preparing and managing supplies, training trip leaders, planning and plotting routes, emergency protocol, transportation, costs, outreach and publicity, recrutiment and coordination with the assistant director. I personally led several trips and events.

I worked as a camp counselor at AndrewsCamps' summer day-camps. The position was a very traditional camp counselor job: camper supervision, engagement, trips and events.

The program incorporates simulations, workshops, service projects, field trips, guest lecturers, leadership development activities and frequent group discussion to provide a holistic and a foundational experience for students.As the Head Team Advisor, I managed a group of 13 students, facilitated discussions and workshops about leadership and about service, managed program logistics in daily activities and served as the field manager of the program's Team Advisors. I also served as a Resident Advisor to ensure the safety and comfort of students on campus.

I worked as an office temporary, via Nelson Connects, and saw assignments across Marin County over three summers. Positions included:Precision General Commercial Contracting, office administration;Cartelligent, receptionist and office administration;Phoenix American Incorporated, administration and organization; and,City of Sausalito, office administration.

I was a dishwasher for a restaurant group in Bozeman. I primarily worked the busy shifts, on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sunday mornings.
