    The Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS) program is an academic enrichment and leadership development initiative administered by the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Yale. YYGS offers educational programming to over 1,800 high school students from over 150 different countries (including all 50+ U.S. states & territories) around the world each year. My responsibilities as an RA for each of the two summers that I worked at CTY included overseeing and mentoring a hall of 12-16 girls, as well as participating in the team of undergraduate RAs, which involved designing and facilitating the recreational programming for all 300+ students.
