About Zeynep Arhon

Zeynep Arhon is a Biomimicry Professional and educator based in the Silicon Valley, California.Zeynep leads projects, and supports marketing communication and business development efforts at Biomimicry 3.8. After graduating from the Biomimicry Professional Program in 2010, she integrated biomimicry into her consulting practice and worked towards spreading sustainability thinking among business leaders in a challenging, developing local economy. Her efforts included writing in business publications as a columnist and contributor, creating and hosting the first biomimicry radio show in Turkish, and creating a biomimicry-based online course for young entrepreneurs in Europe.Zeynep has been living in San Francisco and San Mateo since 2012. She has a Master of Science in biomimicry degree, along with an MBA and a BA in Political Science & International Relations from Turkey's ivy-league Boğaziçi (Bosphorus) University. Finally, she is the first European graduate of Biomimicry Professional Program at Biomimicry Institute (Montana, US). Zeynep believes in the power of business to create a better the future, and the power of learning from nature to redesign business. She feels passionate about creating better ways of conducting business by using nature's strategies. This passion fuels her academic and consulting work.
