As a graphic designer at the American Museum of Natural History, I research, prototype, and design educational web pages for OLogy, the museum's website for students and teachers. I also design and layout materials for the museum's online courses on Seminars of Science and Coursera, and create scientific diagrams, illustrations, and collages for various audiences. I conduct user research and usability testing to measure the impact of my web design work and iterate on improvements. In addition to my role at AMNH, I run my own visual design practice that specializes in working with nonprofits, small businesses, and emerging creatives. I help them elevate their visual identities through branding and graphic design, focusing on projects such as fundraising, development, publications, presentations, and communications. I coordinate meetings with clients and production, manage multiple projects of different sizes, and oversee finances. Some of my clients include Bucks County Free Library, The Literacy Center, and Huntingdon Valley Library.I'm also passionate about sharing the wonders of graphic design and creative thinking with others. I taught an introductory visual design class at Thomas Jefferson University, where I graduated with a BS in Graphic Design Communication in 2018. I led lectures and demonstrations, oversaw student critiques, and provided feedback to students. I taught the class both in-person and remotely, using tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
