Previously as the Vice President of Enterprise Data Analytics, Ben Zhang led Duke Energy's Enterprise Data Analytics organization and he was the Chairman of Duke's Data Governance Committee. Effectively serving as the Chief Data Analytics Officer, Ben was responsible for driving data analytics strategy at the enterprise level, leading the analytics vision and execution of analytics programs that grow revenue, improve operational efficiency, increase employee safety and enhance customer experience. Before that, Ben served as Vice President of the Commercial Analytics, Structuring & Market Fundamentals Group at Duke Energy. He played an important role in the build-out and ramp-up of the Duke's retail business by developing the tools for load forecasting and deal pricing. Ben Zhang has also been very active in a variety of professional, community, and charitable activities. He has spoken at energy conferences, previously served as the Board Chairman of the Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce, and now serves on the board of UNCC School of Data Science.
