About Lei Zhang

I'm currently an assistant professor of information systems at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. At the end of July 2022, I finished my great post-doctoral journey with my supervisor Dr. Andriy Miranskyy in the Department of Computer Science at Ryerson University. My research interests span the intersections of software engineering and other emerging technologies, e..g, quantum computing and deep learning. Besides academia, I also have 5 years of professional experience in software development. My Ph.D. degree was received from McMaster University (under the supervision of Dr. Douglas Down), and I received my Master's degree from The University of Hong Kong.
