At the School of Science and Engineering for the Executive Master of Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Management (EMSc-SCLM), I taught the course "LSC5706 Technologies for Internet Business" during several terms. I instructed this course in the fall of 2018, 2019, and 2020, as well as the spring of 2021, 2022, and 2023.Additionally, at the School of Management and Economics for the Executive Master of Business Administration in Finance Programme (Finance EMBA), I jointly taught the course "FEX6130 Blockchain Technology and Business Applications." I shared 50% of the teaching responsibilities for this course in July 2022 and will again in Term 1 of the academic year 2023/24.

In the field of business management and enterprise applications (Business SaaS), I spearheaded initiatives to explore cutting-edge technologies such as Blockchain, 5G, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobile Internet, Internet of Things, Industrial Internet, Artificial Intelligence, and the Metaverse. I served as a Research Staff Member and the founding chair of the Services Computing Professional Interest Community (PIC) at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. In this role, I published the Cloud Computing Open Architecture in the proceedings of IEEE ICWS 2009 and co-led the SOA Solution Stack project (also known as IBM's SOA Solution Reference Architecture). This project was adopted and published as the industry's largest enterprise and software architecture community's SOA Reference Architecture Standard by The Open Group in 2011.As the worldwide leader of the SOMA Modeling Environment (SOMA-ME), I directed a cross-line of business team in creating SOMA-ME, IBM's model-driven SOA solution design platform. This platform, widely used and highly impactful, generated a business impact exceeding $130 million for large accounts, with a total contract value in the billions in 2009. My leadership and contributions were pivotal in establishing SOMA-ME as a market leader, winning new business, and delivering solutions with heightened quality and efficiency.Additionally, I was the lead researcher for the Business Explorer for Web Services (BE4WS), WSIL Explorer (part of IBM Emerging Technologies Toolkit), and Web Services Outsourcing Manager (WSOM) released by IBM alphaWorks. As the Research Lead for the "Managed E-Hub (M-eHub) Project," I steered a complex initiative to provide streamlined onboarding, services provisioning, and B2B integration through web services. My key responsibilities included guiding R&D to align with strategic objectives, leading cross-functional teams for successful execution and delivery, and implementing state-of-the-art solutions to achieve targeted goals.These outstanding achievements have earned me several accolades, including the IBM Outstanding Accomplishment Award, IBM Outstanding Innovation Award, and IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Award (OTAA) for my contributions to service-oriented technologies and business solutions.

As Chief Architect of IBM HotMedia iTV, I played an instrumental role in transforming traditional broadcast television, which typically relied on a one-way feed of information and entertainment. I helped develop HotMedia TV into an enhanced TV mode that offered a richer, two-way television experience.HotMedia® TV was an architecture and toolset I contributed to, aimed at interactive TV content creation, management, distribution, and related interactive offerings. We started with digital video, embedding data into the transport stream, and synchronizing it with the video and audio content. This data synchronization was done with specific coordinates (spatial) and specific frames (temporal) of the video. An innovation of our team was the creation of HotMedia TV Studio Live, which allowed data to be embedded into MPEG-2 transport streams in real time. This enabled interactive TV audience and program rating in real time, using multi-level tracking methods, systems, and program products.Additionally, I was a member of the Core Architecture Team for HotMedia, an IBM product that provided E-Commerce Solutions for Internet Media. I also served as Research Lead for HotAudio, focusing on bandwidth-aware synchronization of streaming audio and web contents, and was the Lead Architect for HotMedia Live WebCast Solution.
