As a global research and technology leader in Services Computing, pioneering AI expert, and a business leader focused on customer success, I currently serve as a Distinguished Professor of College of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Shenzhen University (SZU) as well as the President of Shenzhen Entrepreneurship & Innovation Federation (SEIF).From November 2010 to December 2022, I held the positions of Senior Vice President, Chief Scientist, and Chief Technology Officer at Kingdee International Software Group Co. Ltd, a publicly listed company in Hong Kong (0268.HK). In these roles, I led research and product architecture design across domains such as cloud computing, blockchain, IoT, 5G, Industrial Internet, Metaverse, and AI, transforming enterprise application software and fueling data-driven digital economy solutions. I was also at the helm of Kingdee's Customer Success business, managing the installed customer base and maximizing their value through innovative business solutions.Earlier in my career, I served as a product manager, research staff member, and program manager specializing in Service-Oriented Architecture and Cloud Computing at IBM Research. Among my various roles, I was the Chief Architect of Industrial Standards at IBM Software Group and Technical Assistant to the VP and CTO of IBM Global Industrial Sector. In these capacities, I proactively integrated technology strategies with business milestones.As a pioneering AI researcher, I began innovating in artificial intelligence within the field of signal processing back in 1990. My Master's Thesis was entitled "Scattering Signal Processing using Artificial Neural Networks." During my Ph.D. research, I invented the Fuzzy Neural Network Development System (FNNDS), Intelligent Traffic Control & Service Management systems for ATM Networks, and Intelligent Information Appliances for Smart Homes.As an educator, I've had the privilege to serve as a Visiting Professor at several renowned universities, including Peking University and Tsinghua University. Since 2018, I've taught courses such as LSC5706 Technologies for Internet Business and FEX6130 Blockchain Technology and Business Applications at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.I firmly believe in the words of Albert Einstein: Only a life lived for others is a life worth while.
