My responsibilities included preparing standard E tests, reading population analyses, and isolating microbial DNA for PCR and gel runs.

With a team of two other high school interns, we installed sun observation stations and calibrated optical instruments at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (i.e., we sat out in the sun a lot but with cool equipment). At the end of the program, we presented a case study to NASA scientists which identified trends in increasing aerosol particle density from China to the US.
