In my CS Ph.D. with 8 YoE in developing LLM/ML/AI systems, I have published over 15 papers. I started a Lead Cloud Developer/DevOps role in a financial corporate sector. Besides applying LLM, NLP, and DRL models to social engineering and mitigation tools against online deception in social media, I have applied ML models to financial big data (econometrics) and bioinformatics.My research topics under social cybersecurity (social computing and network security) are social engineering, opinion dynamics over networks, and decision-making under uncertainty. My dissertation research has provided solutions in the social cybersecurity domain, such as phishing, fake news, false information, or cyber-grooming attacks. In understanding the vulnerable users and attackers, I designed NLP projects of domain-specific chatbots by natural language generation (NLG), intent prediction by natural language understanding (NLU), and users’ social-psychological feature engineering by text/ topic mining. I also gained expertise on designing DRL solutions for NLP tasks, such as fine-tuning the large language model (LLM) and the recurrent neural network (RNN). In combating phishing attackers or false information spreaders, I developed robust social systems based on social and behavioral theories, opinion dynamics, information deception theory, and networked game theory.
