My PhD research has been focusing on utilizing advanced microscopy, diffraction and spectroscopy techniques, in tandem with quantitative analysis and modeling to study the structure, composition and property of complex materials down to atomic scale.

Chemical management in three CEST labs.Built a database for Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis.

Performed top-down and bottom-up fabrication on silicon wafers using ultraviolet lithography and Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) tips, characterized micro/nano structures using Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM).Designed and simulated Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) feedback control process using Labview.Designed and built a magnetic field meter for sensing and measuring weak magnetic field.
