Passionate about improving nutritional well-being and fostering positive health outcomes, I hold a B. Sc in Nutrition and Community Health with Honours from UPM. Currently serving as an Information Officer in the Health Education Division at the Ministry of Health, I engage stakeholders from different sectors and support non-governmental organizations to lead health promotion initiatives. This experience equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between public health and community engagement. In my previous role as a Graduate Research Fellow at UPM, I developed informative teaching materials for undergraduates' lectures related to adolescents' health and spearheaded a training program focused on nutrition communication, empowerment, and leadership. During my university years, I contributed significantly to AIESEC in Malaysia, where I took charge of digital marketing. By crafting and executing strategic digital marketing plans, I successfully promoted leadership development programs to Malaysian youths, further solidifying my skills in communication and social media outreach.My commitment extends beyond professional roles to active volunteering in various nutrition and health promotion initiatives. Notable involvements include the NSM Virtual Parents-Child Cooking Competition, PUTRA Community Nutrition Ambassador Program (PUTRACNAP), and active participation in Nutrition Month Malaysia.As a firm believer in multisectoral collaboration, I am convinced that everyone in society plays a crucial role in shaping current and future health. I advocate for collaborative efforts to bring about food system changes, creating a more sustainable future for our planet and the health of our people.
