My greatest strength is finance - the fact is, I’m a number guy. I learned a lot about business at home. My family’s furniture business sales traditional carved Chinese furniture. I loved to work with my parents, turning wood into useful items. I got interested in business during my senior year of college -- too late to change from my publishing major. After graduation, I went into management development programs, first at Starbucks, then at the Liyuan Hotel. Something was missing, though. I wanted to combine management with a more data-driven methodology. That led to my first graduate degree in Leadership with a concentration in Finance. But in the end -- I’m a number guy. I want to build on this strength to develop deep expertise in Finance. My Bentley degree will accomplish this. I’m interested in Financial services as my ultimate career goal.
