Zach's practice is focused on helping clients secure, exploit, and enforce their valuable intellectual property assets. After graduating from Texas A&M, Zach went on to earn his law degree from Baylor Law School. Zach has also earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, where he was an officer of Eta Kappa Nu (Electrical Engineering Honor Society). Zach has successfully combined his technical expertise with his ever-expanding litigation experience to produce winning results for his clients. Whether it is patent or trademark infringement litigation involving complex technical or legal issues, or business disputes over trade secrets, Zach’s ability to quickly grasp the technical details of a case and merge them with the subtle nuances of the law allows him to effectively and efficiently represent clients in any matter with which he is involved. In addition to his litigation experience, Zach has extensive experience in procuring patents and trademark registrations before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, negotiating patent and trademark licensing agreements, providing written opinions regarding patent infringement and validity, providing patent valuation analysis, and defending patents under reexamination. Zach also has extensive experience in handling trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Zach is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is licensed to practice before federal district courts of the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Zach is a Barrister in the Hon. Barbara M.G. Lynn American Inn of Court and a proud member of the Texas Aggie Bar Association. Zach is also a registered patent attorney licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
