Gina has over 20 years'​ experience in PwC's Assurance services, including 8 years in the audit practice working with large multinational clients and over 12 years in accounting consulting/advisory services. She has been a PwC globally accredited IFRS expert in accounting and financial reporting since 2011, with broad expertise especially in acquisitions and disposals, joint arrangements, non-financial assets and impairment, revenue recognition and lease accounting.Gina has a deep understanding of the oil & gas and mining industries and also has a broad range of industry experience including media, telecommunication and software. In 2023 she’s appointed to be the deputy leader of the PwC global Energy, Utilities & Resource industries technical committee, looking after reporting issues in the mining industry.Since 2022, Gina has taken on a role to lead the technical support on ESG/sustainability-related financial and non-financial reporting, including driving the development of PwC global guidance on carbon market related accounting issues providing feedback to the AASB on the Australian sustainability reporting standards and developing PwC guidance and illustrative disclosures for the ISSB standards.
