Overseeing R&D and manufacturing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for AUP. These products include aerospace machined components, breathing devices and buoyancy controlled systems.Lead of manufacturing processes, R&D, product testing, production, quality control, receiving, inspection, engineering, and purchasing for AUP. Responsible for working with designers and mechanical engineers to develop products, based on customer requirements.Daily activities also include the coordinating of daily operations and workflow in the machine shop while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate, including production schedules.Head of quality control, ensuring the products produced meet the criteria as defined by the engineering department and ISO quality standards.Overseeing of safety and training files, while following and meeting ISO 9001 manufacturing requirements.Prototyping of models to study and approve design prior to production. This development is done by working with engineering to check air flow and work of breathing with ANSTI approved breathing machines, which is a CE Requirement.Actively reviewing the budget to actual, and measuring performance by department, based on monthly output and forecasts.

AUP/ROMI Enterprises is a world-class manufacturer of high tech breathing apparatus and CNC machined components used in vaccum and aerospace equipment. ROMI is capable of providing finished product solutions including design, testing, assembly and on-time efficient delivery.Coordinate with engineers and staff to outsource and produce component parts for AUP. The products built within ROMI are solely for distribution to AUP affiliates in USA, EU and Asia. Communicate daily with vendors in the local area of the Dongguan province, China, to ultimately provide component parts for final assembly of AUP products. Management of over 20 suppliers throughout Asia. This job involves understanding of materials, processes, and communicating with the management teams and buyers from vendors, including negotiating for the most competitive pricing.Monthly reviews of company financial for ROMI and AUP to ensure operational costs are not exceeding forecasted operational budget.
