I have been an explorer in science.For the past five years, I have had extensive scientific research experience, ranging from molecular biology, to computational psychiatry, to bioengineering, to clinical research. I have learned from and discovered with people of diverse skills and state-of-the-art expertise. These experiences have sharpened my intuitions for creative problem solving in diverse and challenging research projects. They also speak to my insatiable curiosity, eagerness to learn, and excitement to dive deeply into unsolved problems.​I have been an explorer in life. My exploration extends beyond academic interests, as it also guides my curiosity and attention to the people around me every day. I enjoy observing and reflecting on how people think, feel and behave. Directly listening to and communicating with people is a key component of my process of developing understanding. I have also grown as a person in many ways through tutoring students, building communities as a residence adviser, and mentoring at risk youth. I bring what I have learned in my explorations to every project I tackle.Drawing from my background in scientific research and a sense of curiosity for the world, I aim to analyze and synthesize data using critical thinking and creative problem solving. Combining this with a deep attentiveness to human behavior, I always aspire to add value to other people's lives through my work.
