I began my career in the construction industry having earned my first degree in Inorganic Non-metallic Material. After realizing where my real passion lies – languages, translation and cultures – I made a decisive career shift to study translation at Western Sydney University in Australia and has since then served as an interpreter/translator in multinational companies and higher institutions including Shanghai Disney Resort(上海迪士尼乐园), Country Garden Group(碧桂园集团), China Mobile(中国移动), Business School of Sun-Yat Sen University(中山大学管理学院), and my most recent position as a lecturer in Jiangxi Normal University Science & Technology College(江西师范大学科技学院). Having translated and published six literary novels (https://www.douban.com/people/jdzzhu), I have a strong interest and expertise in translation practice, especially literary texts such as essays and novels. Interpreting holds a special place in my heart, and I have actively engaged in multiple conference interpreting (CI/SI) assignments. I've had the privilege of working as an interpreter & translator for world-renowned Fortune 500 companies such as Shanghai Disney Resort, China Mobile, and Country Garden Group. My love for interpreting stems from my deep fascination with engaging people from diverse industries and various fields of expertise, and listening to their life stories, which bring me more excitement than any financial gain ever could.
