I worked on multiple research projects as part of the undergraduate research in the University of Washington Bothell. This research focuses on cybersecurity and emerging technology with security issues. I worked with a professor and two graduate students on the "Hidden Sensor Detection" project. This research was later published to the IEEE PerCom conference. My role in the project includes software development for the mobile android application and performing experiments with the app.Currently, I am doing research on another part of the "Hidden Sensor Detection" project where I focus on the audio sensor. I also built a frequency generator app to use for experiment purposes.

Greater Seattle Area

This was an internship at a startup game company that focus on creating a fun experience for the uprising popularity in Esports. I collaborated with the design team and engineers to build new tools and functionalities for both mobile and web application. My role also included QA testing, documentation, and proposal for the Game Master Tool redesign. Highlights of my Internship:1) I developed a push notification in the app which allows the users to control their match notification for the upcoming games. 2) I proposed and redesigned the Game Master Tool to improve the user interface and experience for the Game Masters (GMs).3) I worked on quality assurance and documentation in preparation for the new version of the app.

University Of Washington, Seattle

This was a summer internship where I worked on an undergraduate research project under the NASA Space Grant at the University of Washington Seattle. I executed my research project on “Android Permission Usage and Security” to evaluate the flaws within the Android permission system. Before Android 6.0, there were no proper permission systems in place to keep apps from accessing every permission from a user's phone. I gained valuable research skills, analytical skills, problem solving, and presentation skills.

I learned to use Adobe ActionScript 2.0 to create flash animation and designs. Toward the end of the program, I have to create a project using the skills that I've learned to educate people about a topic. My project topic was about West Seattle Parks and Recreation since there are many of them that people didn't know about. So I went on a journey to go the around West Seattle's parks and took photos, studied and learned about the parks. Using Adobe action script, I made animation with the photos, describe the histories and facts about the park in a fun way in order to appeal to audience. Through the program, I learned to program, create animation, photography, communication, presentation/public speaking.
