Therefore, I am collaborating with CNSC colleagues and international DECOVALEX partners to research the 129I and 235U logs in ore and host rocks at Cigar Lake Uranium mines, and develop appropriate models to interpret and calibrate against the data. In addition, I have completed a DECOVALEX performance assessment (PA) study of fractured crystalline rocks for DGRs, by an equivalent continuous permeability model (EPM) that is comparable to a DFN or DFM approach. The next step would be applying this approach to study of Canadian DGR candidate site at Revell, Ontario. Show less

I acquired in-depth understanding of the Optics and Wavelength dependence of the gratings and color filter array and photodiodes. - I developed numerical models and deployed intensive computation tasks in distributed computation resources. The models were proven sound and solid by excellent agreement with pixelwise measurement in the lab. - I designed the optical parts for both BSI and FSI CMOS image sensors. I studied PDAF techniques, microlens array, color filters etc. using the model I developed in frequency domain FE method.- I applied machine learning tools to predict the grating performance and pixel responses. This work has great potential to streamline the design process and to improve the efficiency of a comprehensive design.- I acquired expert knowledge of Python and become experienced with mainstream machine learning tools of tensorflow and scikits.
