The general research interest of our group is synthesis and application of carbon nanomaterials. We focus on synthesis of carbon nanotube and graphene with CVD methods, and their properties of heat and electrical conductivity, electromagnetic interference, and loading nanopartricles. The approaches are multidisciplinary involving expertise and knowledge in materials science, chemistry and physics. In particular, we aim to pursue our research in the following areas:1. Development of new technologies and tools for synthesis of carbon nanotube macro-films and graphene powder with large scale;2. Electromagnetic interference shielding of carbon nanomaterials;3. Implementation of nanotechnologies and carbon nanomaterials into wearable batteries;4. Carbon nanomateirals applied in lithium ion batteries, lithium metal batteries and solid state batteries.
